Bohain-in Vermandois is a chief town of canton of the Département of Aisne, in the district of Saint-Quentin.

In the past named Bohain, the commune took the current name of Bohain-in-Vermandois in 1956.-

Famous characters
- Henri Matisse remained during a score of years in a house of the downtown area. Born in Cateau-Cambrésis in 1869, its family settles in 1870 in Bohain where Henri passes a little more than 20 years.
