Boguslaw VIII of Poméranie (in Polish Bogusław VIII , in German Bogislaw VIII. ) was born in 1364 and died in 1418. It is duke of Poméranie.

Boguslaw VIII is the son of Boguslaw V of Poméranie and Adelaide of Brunswick. He is the younger brother of Warcislaw VII of Poméranie and the older brother of Barnim V of Poméranie. He is the half-brother of Casimir IV of Poméranie. He is the father of Boguslaw IX of Poméranie.

Died of Casimir IV in 1377, Warcislaw VII succeeds to him on the throne of the duchy of Słupsk. It gives to his brothers the area of Stargard which becomes an independent duchy.

In 1385, Boguslaw VIII is named bishop of Kamień Pomorski by the pope. He resigns very quickly, simply giving the responsability himself to manage the grounds of évêché.

Following the Union of Krewo between the Poland and the Lithuania in 1385, the teutonic Ordre seeks allies in the west. In 1386, Teutoniques sign with Boguslaw VIII and its brothers a military alliance directed against Poland. In 1390, Boguslaw VIII and its two brothers break the agreement with Teutoniques and are combined with Ladislas II Jagellon. In 1391, Boguslaw VIII signs a trade agreement with Poland. In 1392, the king of Poland gives him Bydgoszcz as a Fief. In 1395, it becomes the ally of Ladislas II Jagellon, and in 1403, it is committed militarily supporting Poland against Teutoniques. The same year, it reunifies the duchy of Słupsk after the death of his brother Barnim V. It operates without success to try to make pass by its port of Darłowo Polish trade route of the Baltique.

In 1409, it is combined again with Teutoniques to give up them the following year, after the battles of Grunwald.

The August 29th 1410, to Malbork, it returns a Hommage of Vassal ité to Ladislas II Jagellon. It obtains the strongholds of Lębork, Człuchów, Biały Bór, Debrzno, Świdwin, Bytów and Czarne.
