Bodyslam

Bodyslam is a popular group of Thai Rock of the Années 2000. It is especially known thanks to the singer Toon, principal type-setter of the songs. At the date of 2006, Bodyslam left 3 albums, the last being titrated Believe .

History

The group was called a time It (ละอ่อน), which wants to say young children or in the Thai dialect of the North-East (isan). Then the six members of the group were registered with a musical contest " Hot Wave Music Awards" in 1996 and gained it by preceding a hundred groups almost. The group quickly signed a contract with the label Music Bugs and left an album eponyme in 1997. It is an album pop-rock'n'roll and of which the song Dai Rue Plao (ได้หรือเปล่า) known a sharp success. The group played in a Lakorn (televisual series) Thep Niyai Nai Sano and the band composed some. An album of the songs of this series had left in 1997. The group reappeared in 2002 with a new name, Bodyslam, consequently of its new orientation: a music rock'n'roll much harder. Only 3 members of the original group remained. Their first album under this new name (also eponyme) met success. They continue in 2003 with the second album, Drive which is sold Ben too.

After this album, the group knew much change. It left the label Bugs Music and signed at GMM Grammy, the largest label in Thaïlande.Le bass player, Ratthapol Pannachet called CAM, left the group for a career solo (an album in 2005) and it group was joined by two novel members, Yod and Chuch. In 2005, the third album Believe left in April.
