Boby Lapointe (Robert, Jean-François, Joseph, Pascal Lapointe, known as), born the April 16th 1922 with Pézenas (Herault), deceased in this town of a cancer the June 29th 1972, French, especially known singer for its texts strewn with Pun S, Spoonerism S and approximation.

Childhood and studies

“Raised by my parents. Studies with the college. Extremely in maths. ”, as he tells it itself in his memories, its odd side and joker appear very early. Difficult years

In the Years 1960, Lapointe and Brassens connect the rounds and the recitals. But its odd side makes him make errors. When it opens a café concert, “the Blue Dial”, the bankruptcy occurs quickly. Brassens helps it by sponging part of the debts and the assistance to find odd jobs to live. The director of the programs of Europe 1, Lucien Morisse, intervenes so that it signs a contract with discs AZ. But the period Yéyé started and the musical style of Fanfare, on which all the songs of Lapointe are based, makes as much any more receipt, neither on the waves, nor in the vats.
