Bobby Simmons (born the June 2nd 1980 with Chicago in the Illinois) is a player of American Basket-ball , playing in NBA at the Milwaukee Bucks.
Resulting from the university of DePaul (in its native area), Bobby Simmons is selected with the second tower of the draft 2001 (42e choice on the whole) by the Seattle Sonics, it is transferred the night from the draft to the Washington Wizards against Predrag Drobnjak. There then remain two seasons at Wizards, recording an average higher than 3 points in 10 minutes per match.
During its two seasons in Wizards, it is used as currency of exchange in a transfer sending Richard Hamilton to Detroit against Jerry Stackhouse. Strait releases it and Simmons joined the Mobile Revelers, team of NBDL (minor league of the NBA) for one month, before finding a place in NBA within the Washington Wizards.
At the end of the season 2002-03, free of any contract, it joined finally the Los Angeles Clippers, for small a two season old contract, just with the top of the wage minimum.
It shows with the Clippers signs of progression and finishes the season with nearly 8 points of average, in particular thanks to excellent an end of season.
In 2004-05, whereas it is in the last year of its contract, Simmons confirms the performances which it showed the possibility for at the end of the former season and records an average of 16 points and 6 rebounds, making of him the second player of the team behind Corey Maggette. It receives then the title of player having progressed more . It then joined during the intersaison the Milwaukee Bucks with a five year old contract to the key.
