Bob Rock
Bob rock'n'roll is a producing musician and Canadian born the April 19th 1954 with Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada).
It is an old glory of the Glam rock'n'roll. It took part in the recording of the album " Black album" (sometimes called Metallica ) of Metallica to the album St Anger. It also produced albums for Simple plan, Mötley Crüe ( Dr.Feelgood ), American Hi-Fi, Bon Jovi, Lostprophets, The Cult.
Currently, it was harnessed with the production of the eighth album of the American group The Offspring
Polemic
It is often reproached to him for having influenced the music of Metallica. During the recording of St Anger, he played the basic parts. The result did not satisfy more than 20.000 fans who then launched a petition on line to ask for the stop of his collaboration with Metallica. Rick Rubin (Slayer, System off has Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc) will have to replace Rock for the production of the next album of the group.
