Bob Purkisher

Bob Purkisher , born in 1943 and deceased in 1982, was a player of American Basket-ball French naturalized in 1975 (1,87 m).

After a career with ASVEL crowned of three titles of Champion of France, this American of origin naturalized in 1975 joined Mans in 1980 to occupy the post of trainer there. Obliged to join again with the parquet floor, it leads its team finally championship of France. Then the following year, it gains a new title, its first as a trainer.

Unfortunately, it will not be able to confirm its talents, dying in an car accident after the end of season.
