Boat of help

A boat of help is a generally inflatable boat, but existing also in rigid type , provided with an outboard motor and, used on the Navire S to recover a man with the sea or shipwrecked men in general. It is also used within the framework of the abandonment of the ship to gather the various rafts and/or life rafts. The men who use it carry a Combinaison of survival.

Regulatory definition:

  • Rule 2 subparagraph 7. A " boat of secours" is a boat designed to save people in distress and to gather boats and rescue rafts.
