Boardslide

The boardslide (pronounce with the English E, " bort' slaïde ") is a Trick of Skateboard. It belongs to the category of the slides and is carried out consequently on a rail or a curb. A boardslide is carried out when the contact between the rail and the skateboard is done on the level of the board, between the two axes. A boardslide carried out on a Curb is called Rockslide.

To make a boardslide, a skator starts by typing a Ollie while swivelling slightly, so as to present itself perpendicular to the rail. The skateboard must fall on the rail with this last between the two axes. If the position and speed are good, the skate will slip then naturally along the bar. The trick stops when one arrives at the end of the rail, the goal being to begin again, of a blow of kidney, the initial position.

It is also possible to make a boardslide in slappy, which means " without making ollie". For that, one needs a rail which is not too high, or even which touches the ground then goes up gradually. Thus, it is enough to roll, raise the nose gear wheels and to pass them over the bar, so as to position in boardslide.
