Synopsis

An Italian ex- cal girl, Sandra (Asia Argento), re-examines her former lover Miles (Michael Madsen), an international financier. Their relation is made of fascination and mutual repulsion, of sexual and pecuniary attraction which leads them to dangerous plays and perverse reports/ratios. After having assassinated Miles and because of its implication in a Drug trafficking Sandra is obliged to leave for HongKong, where she escapes itself several times killers and discovers which are the true silent partner of the murder that she made.

In the presentation with Cannes on his film, Olivier Assayas indicated: I had been interested in a fact various which had seemed to me straight left Demonlover , the assassination of the financier Edouard Stern at the end of a meeting of Sado-masochisme.
