Blue Guides

The blue Guides are a collection of tourist guides published by Hachette Livre.

History

The guides of Joanne voyage, published in France by Adolphe Joanne starting from 1841, are yielded thereafter to Louis Hachette.

Become in 1919 the collection of the blue Guides, they were a reference as regards cultural guides a long time.

The page layout of the guides was re-examined a few years ago: addition of illustrations, more aired model, insertion of colors… Its contents also left a little more place to the practice: the reference marks and the alphabetical presentation of the places make it possible to find them quickly.
