Blood bath of Stockholm
The blood bath of Stockholm is a Massacre which followed the invasion of the Sweden by the Danish forces of Christian II of Denmark. The massacre itself is the series of events which occurred between the 4 and the November 10th 1520, with like culminating point the execution of a small hundred people (mainly of the members of the nobility and clergy supporting Sten Sture the Young person), in spite of the promise of Christian of a Amnistie. These executions proceeded on the place of Stortorget to Stockholm.
