It is one of the basic principles of the Cybernétique, in its formalization by Norbert Wiener, which makes it possible to study the exchanges of information exclusively, without mixing them with the nature as of the elements.
For example, if one studies relays it of a signal, one can represent one limps black, with received information and another which is emitted in answer (one can imagine a guettor who emits a light as it see one of them). In the context which interests us (here the relay of information) the nature of the relais" no importance has. Norbert Wiener the image that by the idea of a machine which can always play the part of human (in the context of the " informational circuit studied), which gave birth to through imagination from Isaac Asimov the character from the Cyborg.
The basic principle at summer quickly put of dimensioned and is not always well recognized, including in Systémique; on the other hand there remain very present in certain scope of application like data processing (origin of the languages directed object for example).
