Blind Guardian

Blind Guardian is a German group of Power metal, born in the Eighties under the name of Lucifer' S Heritage. They take as a starting point the Heroic Fantasy and the world of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. With the wire of the albums, they misent more on clearness, not hesitating to adopt melodies which take as a starting point the epic music. By this skew, they outdistance number of European formations to form, with Helloween mainly, the base of the Germanic power-speed. They are inspired without distinction by all large the sagas, the Iliade to the Seigneur of the Rings, while passing by Lancedragon, Nietzsche, the religious subjects, and especially the Silmarillion, which inspires all the Nightfall album in Middle-Earth. The texts are composed by the singer Hansi Kürsch, and the melodies by the whole of the members, in alternation or collaboration.
