Blessed shōga

Blessed shōga (Japanese: 紅生姜, べにしょうが) is a type of Tsukemono (Japanese salting). It is manufactured starting from Gingembre crossed in sections fine, coloured in red by sheets of akajiso and marinaded in vinegar of EMU (Umezu 梅酢). It is served with a great number of Japanese dishes, of which the Gyūdon, the Okonomiyaki, and the Yakisoba.

Not to confuse Blessed the shōga with the Gari which is another type of marinaded ginger, and which accompanies the Sushi.
