Blessed Maupin

Bennie Maupin (born on August 29th 1946) is an American musician of Jazz originating in Detroit, playing of the Saxophone, the Flûte and the low Clarinette.

It is known to have played with Herbie Hancock in the Headhunters and its sextet on Mwandishi , like with Miles Davis on the album jazz-rock'n'roll Bitches Brew . He also collaborated with Horace Silver, Roy Haynes, Eddie Henderson and Happy Meat Manifesto.
