Blemmyes

The Blemmyes , are a wandering tribe Nubian which at the 3rd century lived in the South-west of the Egypt, it supported the tyrant Firmus, then seized Ptolémaïs and Coptos at the time of Probus. One ends up reducing them.

The popular accounts in particular those of Pline Old the, describe them as without head, neck, and having the eyes and the mouth on the chest.
