History
The name of the district is already characteristic of the place: at the top of a hill, with a superb sight on all the city and the surroundings of Porto Alegre.
The history of Bleated Vista is related to that of the district of Petrópolis, one of oldest of the municipality, because it is resulting from the dismantling of one of the many historical land and buildings of the place, that of the family Santos Neto. In 1970, these grounds were parcelled out, making the district primarily residential.
Today
Until the beginning of the the Nineties, the district was only made up of residential houses, starting from 1999, Law 434/99 completely modified the characteristics of the place, of the buildings starting to be built, appreciably changing the configuration of landscape and vegetation of the zone. Within the framework of the urban development of the city, the avenue Neuza Brizola was open to connect the avenues Nilópolis and Protásio Alves.
