Blazing coal (boat)

The blazing coal is a small fishing vessel of Brittany and Normandy.

It carries two masts with veil to the third, like jib, foresail and topsail; the bôme of taillevent overflows largely with the back. Its back in table is worth the nickname of " to him; bottom-carré".

Powerful, it is used for various activities: fish with sardine, dredging of oysters, transport of goëmon.

The dragou is a blazing coal, whose name comes from its function (dredging).
