Blaze Bayley

Blaze Bayley (of its true name Bayley Cook), born the May 29th 1963 with Birmingham (England), is a singer of Heavy Metal.

After having been member of Childsplay , he was the singer of the group Wolfsbane (of 1984 with 1993) which he left after the publication of their third album. But it is especially known because the same year, it becomes the singer of the group Iron Maiden, which had just lost Bruce Dickinson left for solo projects.

Selected among hundreds of audited singers, it was committed in December 1993. The X Factor was its first recording with Iron Maiden, published in 1995. The round which followed had to be curtailed following allergic problems of Bayley. The group turned over in studio for Virtual XI (1998). Once again the round had to be curtailed. These albums are not appreciated fans, who regretted moreover the vocal difficulties of Bayley on the old pieces of the group. Bayley however composed a few good pieces for Iron Maiden.

End 1999, Bayley left Iron Maiden at the time of the return of Bruce Dickinson. It formed the following year clean sound groups B L HAS Z E.
