Blastomère

A blastomère is a cell which derives from the first divisions or segmentation of the Zygote during the embryonic Développement. This term derives from the Greek blastos who mean germ or bud and from meros which means part.

The first division of mitosis takes place approximately 30 hours after fecundation, the mitoses continue at the rate/rhythm of a division every 24:00. The cells girls increasingly small because are limited by the pellucid Zone.
