Blankenburg (Holland-Southerner)

Blankenburg is an old Dutch village, on the island of Rozenburg, in Holland-Southerner.
It was in the south-west of the island and counted 400 inhabitants and 130 houses, built along the Digue S. to allow the extension of the port of Rotterdam, the villagers were expropriés. This operation proceeded in 1960 and 1965.
With the site of the village from now on the industrialo-harbor complex of Huntsman is.
