Blancco OY Ltd is a specialized company in the professional destruction of data and management of the re-use of the computers at the end of the life cycle.

Blancco OY Ltd is a Finnish company (before known under the name of Carelian Innovation ) created in 1997 by Mr. Janne Tervo and Mr. Kim Väisänen (current Managing director) after an incident: a hospital had accidentally sold PC containing the medical files of 3000 patients.

In addition to its eight international offices (Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, France, Australia and three with the the United States), the company has partners on all the continents, in more than twenty country.

Blancco produces solutions of obliteration of data based on a Technologie of point developped at the point in partnership with companies of safety like the military forces and police force, Defense, the financial institutions and the banks, as well as the companies belonging to the review Fortune. The company developed a concept of destruction of data called “ERA” (obliteration, report/ratio, examination). The Blancco software erases the data of the hard drives completely. These data thus erased can be recovered with no existing means so far. After each obliteration, the software provides a detailed report/ratio of the obliteration carried out as well as a detailed inventory of the material.
