Blainville-on-Sea (to pronounce //) is a common department of the Manche, in the area Basse-Normandie, in France.

Geography

It is a commune of approximately 1300 inhabitants, with a small maritime frontage giving on the Manche. This frontage is a sand beach end, with moreover several conchylaceous zones. Also let us announce the Havre of Blainville for its fauna and its flora, surrounded by natural dunes.

This commune is to 12 km of Coutances and 40 km of Saint-Lo. Its population makes more than to double in summer, because of its tourist attractivity, and its proximity with the commune of Agon-Coutainville.
