Blacko

Blacko aka Tikaf Lakour or Solitary Lion (in the past Black Renéga and " Scheol") , from its true name Karl Appella was born with Montfermeil on February 5th, 1979.

It passes its childhood until the 14 years age in the south of the France where it discovers rep.

This music gives him the desire for taking the microphone and at age the 12 years it forms with friends the group KDM (Killer Of the Microphone). It is obliged to give up the group to return to live in Parisian suburbs with Mourning-the-Bars.

As of its arrival, it integrates the group A.R. Possee . At 15 years, it leaves the group to integrate Kaotik . The same year, it enters the collective Comité of Mourning and meets El Tunisiano with which it created Suspect Personnalité . Thanks to its facilities for the Ragga Hip Hop , it becomes one of the members headlights of the collective and is pointed out on the piece of Mr. Group " 9.5.1.7 .0." which take part already Aketo and El Tunisiano.

It occurs with the Hip Hop Folies of the La Rochelle in 1997 and creates the group Sniper with its two assistants El Tunisiano and Aketo which joined them to support them on scene.

It is within the Sniper group which begins success with many albums sold through France of their first opus Of the Laughter With the Tears . Blacko is dissociated with a flow mixing reggae, song and rep.

The meeting with his/her father was an big event of its life which enabled him to better know itself him even and to know its true origins (Reunionnaises).

It is following the second album of Sniper (" Engraved In Roche") that Blacko has two accidents of scooter in a few days, it is what that it called in question its life, the religion, the world which surrounds it to move quite naturally towards the Rastafarisme. This change also feels in its music, indeed, it completely stopped the rap to be devoted entirely to the Reggae/Ragga. However Blacko always keeps with dimensions the " engagé" rap, according to its philosophy, the words are weapons. For Blacko this ideology is clearly applied. Indeed he sings to denounce more than to make the spree.

In 2006 the album Trait For Feature left. The round which follows mark an end a priori provisional of the Sniper group. The three member are devoted to their albums solos. Aketo will leave him a mixtape names Cracheur venom on laquel it will not be not cepandant present. Tunisiano will leave to him its album solo about March 2008 February. It will be entitled indelible Rimes . That of Blacko should leave in winter 2008 and be called Enfant Of the Sun …
