Blackfire (group)

Blackfire is a group of punk-rock'n'roll American and Navajo, formed at the end of the years 1980, and composed of the brothers and sister Clayson Benally (battery, song), Klee Benally (guitar, song) and Jeneda Benally (low, song). The group, especially active on scene, militates for the rights of the Amerindian . It in particular gained a Native American Music Awards in 2002 and 2005, and collaborated with two members of Ramones, C.J. Clean and Joey Ramone. Following a request of the girl of Woody Guthrie, they took again in music some of its poems.
