Black Thunder

Black Thunder, artist Reggae, from its true name Cecil Taylor, was born in 1957 in May PEN in Jamaica. Author-interpret, guitarist, producer, it approaches Peter Tosh by his style musical, its texts conscious and its engagement in the Rastafarisme. It is besides Peter Tosh him even which encouraged it to persevere in the music.

He discovers the music at the school, by using his vocal talents at the time of school concerts. Thereafter, he becomes professor of music. Its artistic career takes off then since it takes part in many concerts in Jamaica in with dimensions of Culture, Jimmy Cliff and Gregory Isaacs.

Black Thunder arrives at Montego Bay where he works with the band Reggae Vibrations. It then records a series of songs including one " It' S better to love" number 1 will be classified and will remain during 8 weeks in Signal 10 of the national radio station JBC in Jamaica. He undertakes then a series in concert throughout the world which will lead it to Japan, the United States, Canada, Haiti, Iles Grenade, the Bahamas.

He returns to Jamaica at the end of the Nineties and turns over in studio to record two albums: " Where is that love" and " World crisis" who are a certain success in Jamaica, in England, in Italy and in the Caribbean.

In 2003 Black Thunder takes part in a round in the Caribbean at the sides of Beenie Man, Silver Cat, Vibes Cartel and Culture. It is also discovered this year there with the Reggae Sumfest, a great festival reggae in Montego Bay in Jamaica.

In July 2007, it carries out at the side of Frankie Paul a series in concert in Gabon, in Gambia and in Senegal following an invitation by the president of Gabon.

Black Thunder currently works with live a French band: Reaggae Warrior, originating in the north of France, with which it envisages a series in concerts and an album soon.
