Black Lori
The black Lori , ( Chalcopsitta will atra ) is a Perroquet of intermediate size, up to 30 cm length. This lori is the least coloured kind since it is entirely black except the tail. The majority of its feathers have reflections crimsons with the sun. There is no sexual Dimorphisme.
One often meets them in forests of Cocotier S and the trees in flowers in the west of the New Guinea and on his surrounding islands.
Its world population is estimated at 50.000 individuals.
