Black Jurançon
The black jurançon is a Cépage of black grape France.
Origin and geographical distribution
The type of vine is cultivated mainly in the South-western area. It makes bets Encépagement names Vins of Lavilledieu, Vins of Estaing, Vins of Entraygues and of Fel,… Aujourd'hui it is in great regression passing of 12.320 hectares in 1958 to 1.294 hectares in 2004.Plantations are known in Uruguay.
The black jurançon was used as parent of the type of vine Chenanson. It is the black alternative of the white Jurançon.
It encépagement does not form part of Vignoble of Jurançon.
Characters ampelographic

Technological potential
The bunches are large and the bays are of intermediate size. The bunch truncated, is pignée. The type of vine is vigorous and productive. It is very sensitive to the Mildiou, with the gray Pourriture and with the worms of the bunch and it fears the dryness.By reducing its output considerably, it could give wines although slightly coloured, light and fond of delicacies with light flavors the purple ones.
