Blönduós
Blönduós is a village of the North-West of the Iceland located at 245 km of Reykjavík. The village counts approximately 1000 inhabitants, has a course of golf of 9 holes and constitutes a good base to make tourism in the neighborhoods.
Blönduos is located at the intersection of Road 1 and the Blanda river which crosses the city. The city has a church at the top of a hill overhanging the city. This church has an architecture particularly striking since it is supposed to resemble a volcanic crater.
Blönduos does not have a good port and the most important function of the east city to feed the farms of the area. The sources of receipts of the city are the exploitation of the forests, fishing and tourism.
