Blécherette

Blécherette is a district of the town of Lausanne. It is located at the north of the commune.

One finds in this district:

  • the airport of Blécherette.
  • Various equipment sportsmen
  • cantonal service Vaud ois of the cars and navigation.

Several projects are currently (2007) being studied to develop this district of the city, like a funicular or a subway connecting it to the downtown area, the thickening residential zones (dwellings with the current site of the Olympic stadium, prison of Chavalon and carpark of the cycle-racing track).
