Bjarne Riis
Bjarne Riis (born the April 3rd 1964 with Herning with the Denmark) is a runner cyclist of Danish nationality . He gains the Tour de France 1996 and puts a term at his sporting career after a fall in the Tour of Switzerland 1999. He is since 2000 to manage Équipe cyclist TEAM CSC.
During its victory in the Tour de France 1996, he had inherited a reputation ambiguity as regards doping. In the nickname testifies to “Mister 60%” of which it had then been affublé because of his rate of supposed Hématocrite. The May 25th 2007, it admits being doped with EPO during its sporting career and in particular during the Tour de France 1996 which it had gained. The June 7th 2007, its name is definitively striped prize list of the turn of France, no winner will not henceforth be mentioned for this year 1996.
