Biviers is a commune located in the valley of Grésivaudan, with approximately ten kilometers of Grenoble. There are a little more 2500 inhabitants (census of 2004). In Biviers, certain places (with the right angle ways of barraux, way of the Signet rings it is possible to admire Mont Blanc when it makes sun. History

Biviers is a very old commune, which completion date of the 18th century. There were many farms of wine growers, peasants and farmers. There is, to date, 3 castles with Biviers:

Claude Berri: the famous producer-realizer of the French cinema, of Jewish confession, was hidden in Biviers during the second world war. Secondary education: Like Montbonnot, Biviers is divided for the continuation of the schooling: It y' has two parts separated by the torrent from the Needle: the pupils residing Right Bank go to the college of Grésivaudan to Saint-ismier. The pupils residing left bank go to the college Lionnel Terray in Meylan. If the children want to go in another college, they can ask for an exemption of sector, refused or aceptée, on the level of the Academy of Grenoble.
