the white Review (1889 - 1903), is a literary Revue and artistic where the great writers and artists of this time collaborated.

It was rested and directed by the brothers Natanson (Alexandre, Thadée and Louis-Alfred, said Alfred Athis). It was posed as a rival Mercure de France , from where its name which marked the difference with the mauve cover of the Mercure . The wife of Thadée, Misia, takes part in the launching of the review and is used as model with some covers. The sub-editors were the critic Lucien Muhlfeld and, especially, requiring it Felix Fénéon 1896 with 1903.

Spokesperson of the cultural and artistic intelligentsia of the time, the review contributes his share to the Affaire Dreyfus starting from 1898, fascinating part for the wrongfully shown captain of treason. It is as in the columns of the white Review as in serial, in 1900, appeared the Newspaper of a chambermaid of Octave Mirbeau.
