BitlBee

BitlBee is a footbridge of Instant messaging which makes it possible to connect since a Client IRC on the whole of the most used protocols (Windows Live Messenger, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, Jabber, etc)

BitlBee acts like a waiter, the contacts of each account seeming normal users of a central living room, the discussions being held through a message deprived such as one knows them on IRC.

For the users who do not wish to install the software on their machine, there exist waiters accessible in a public way.

AFKIM is an application for PlayStation Portable which uses BitlBee to be connected to the networks of instant messaging.
