Bissert
Bissert is a common French, located in the department of the the Low-Rhine and the area Alsace.
Geography
History
The village is entirely destroyed during the Guerre Thirty Year old. Rebuilt at a different place that at its origins, it does not reach any more the rate of population of antan. Of 243 inhabitants in the middle of the 19th century, its population falls to 133 in 1990.

- the church Protesting E, set up at the end of the 19th century, rises on the site of old a medieval Chapelle. A very old sanctuary would have existed in the surroundings. This one would have had a defensive function during the wars of the Moyen-âge.
