The March 17th 1936 the Bisons lose their skating rink because of a snowstorm and are then obliged to play the remainder of the season abroad. They join then International American hockey league (which will become later the American Ligue of hockey) during fusion between the LIH and the Canadian-American Hockey League but after 11 matches, because of the absence of skating rink, it appears that the solution is not viable and the frankness ceases its activities definitively.
In 1940, the Bisons reappear when the Stars of Syracuse move in Buffalo to become new the Bisons of Buffalo. This team will evolve/move in LAH until in 1970.
