Bir El Hafey is a city of the center of the Tunisia, located at 30 kilometers in the south of Sidi Bouzid, in Piedmont southern of the Tunisian Dorsale.

Attached to the Governorship of Sidi Bouzid, it constitutes a municipality of 5589 inhabitants and is the Chef-lieu of a delegation of 33.979 inhabitants.

She is in position of crossroads on the axis Kairouan - Gafsa because crossed by the road GP3 while being connected to Sidi Bouzid, the chief town of the Gouvernorat.
