Biosignal
The term Biosignal is the summary term for all kinds of physiological electrical signals which can be measured starting from the living beings.
One uses a simple electronic assembly, composed of a Amplificateur of instrumentation coupled with a filter rejecting current 50 Hz of the sector, also called bioamplificator who amplifies all the physiological electrical signals starting from electrodes posed on the skin and returns them in a microcomputer equipped with software with filters and visualization.
Measured physiological signals
- - ECG, Electrocardiogram: beats of the heart.
- - EMG, Electromyogram: State of tension of the muscles.
- - EEG, Electroencephalogram: cerebral waves.
- - GSR, Galvanic Skin-Response: resistance of the skin.
- - EGEG, Gastrocolique: Stomach, Intestine.
- - VRC, Variability of heart rate, beat by beat, used in cardiac coherence.
