Comments

  • Bioman was the first series of sentai to have a squadron trained by three male elements and two female elements. It is in Japan, the eighth series of sentai.
  • Unknown the carried out a parody of this series in a sketch entitled Biouman .

  • Contrary to the rumor of the time, the Yellow death of Force in the tenth episode of the series was not justified by the sudden departure of Yuki Yakima of the JAC (Japan Action Club) because of a problem of wages, but was envisaged since the commencement of the series in order to show that the arrogance can lead to the loss (dixit: Ryōsuke Sakamoto at the time of its last conference in France at the time of the Japan Expo).

  • Contrary to the Japanese original version, the French version of the series had several different credits: on Canal+, Michel Barouille took again the Japanese credits, and on TF1, Bernard Minet interpreted a title without any connection with the spirit of the musics specific to the series of sentai (what it also did for the other series of sentai exported in France following the success of Bioman ).

  • Michel Barouille (singer of the French credits of Bioman , the Battle of the Planets , Judo Servant boy …) was the guest of the Japan Expo 3rd and 4th Impact in July 2001 and 2002.
