Binder

A binder is a liquid product which agglomerates particle S solid S in the form of Poudre. In the field of the Painting, it makes it possible the Pigment of a painting to stick on the support.

For example it can be the Linseed oil (Oil-base paint), the Gum arabic (Aquarelle, Gouache), a resin alkyde, acrylic resin, or vinyl for paintings of the same name, but also quite simply of the egg (Tempera).
