Billy Coen

Billy Coen is a character of the series Resident Evil created by Capcom.

Born in 1972, one knows only very few things about its life, former lieutenant in the navy.
It is judged and recognized guilty the July 22nd, 1998 for the murder of twenty-three innocent people during a mission in which it was made betray, it is condemned to the capital punishment: hanging by colonel Thomas A. Festerberger.
the evening of the July 23rd, 1998, during its transfer to the base of Lexton for its execution, its convoy is attacked. Billy benefits from it to escape before falling on Ecliptic Express, mysterious train where it becomes acquainted with Rebecca Chambers. Together they make team to escape the nightmare that they face. They end up leading in a treatment plant of waste water, ultimate den of James Marcus which took them in hunting as of the beginning. Benefitting from the weak point of Marcus: the light thanks to Rebecca which has succeeds in actuating the mechanical shutters, Billy dislocates it of a ball of Magnum little before the explosion of the treatment plant.
In the morning of the July 24th, 1998, Rebecca recovers its military plate then to mean that he officially died. Semi-officially, it is differently.

It is good to note that Billy will réapparaitrera in the opus Wii Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. This last will recall the epopee of several protagonists of Saga of which that of Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen. It should bring some explanations also there on certain remote regions of the intrigue.

It is as good to know as Michael Van Wormer, the actor who doubles Billy Coen, ensured to have recorded dialogs for her character in the future Resident Evil 5. Unfortunately, it is possible that the actor confused Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles with Resident Evil 5. Indeed, Michael Van Wormer has can be thought that as its character was going to reappear in the series, it was logical that it appears in the episode according to the last opus having left to date.
