Bill Speer

Bill Speer (born the March 20th 1942 with Lindsay in the Ontario) is a former professional player of Hockey in North America.

Career in club

It begins its career in 1960 - 61 in the Association of hockey of Ontario (today Ontario Hockey League ) for the Teepees de Saint-Catharines. Four seasons later, it makes its beginnings in the American Ligue of hockey for the Indians de Springfield.

After having played in several franknesses from the LAH, it is joined the first team Penguins de Pittsburgh in 1967. He plays all the season with Penguins and part of following season. He also plays in the central Ligue of hockey.

In 1969, it plays with the Bruins of Boston but spends most clearly its time in the LAH. During the following season, he does not play that only one match with Bruins then is selected at the time of the expansion of the LNH of 1972 by the Flames of Atlanta.

He did not join therefore the team and carries out his two last professional seasons in 1972-73 and 1973-74 in the Worldwide association of hockey for the Raiders of New York.
