Bill Laimbeer
William Laimbeer Jr. (born the May 19th 1957 with Boston in the Massachusetts) is a former player of Basket-ball in NBA, and is the current trainer of the Strait Shock, frankness from WNBA, the North-American league of female basketball. He one of the players was the most hated of all leagues it.
Biography
Bill Laimbeer grows in a rich family in the suburbs of Chicago, and continues its studies at the university of Notre Dame. He had declared: “I am the only player of NBA which earns less money than his/her father”. He is draft E in 1979 by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but spends the season 1979-80 to Italy.Three years later, it is transferred to the Detroit Pistons. During its career, Laimbeer acquires the reputation of one of the most brutal players of the NBA which did not hesitate either to pretend to be hustled. But Laimbeer was also a complete player, in particular one of the rare pivots to be able to mark at 3 points. Certainly the player more hated league, it contributes largely to the reputation of the Bad Boys of Strait which gain two championships in 1989 and 1990
Laimbeer master key 14 seasons in NBA, including 12 in Detroit. He becomes the 19th player to mark more 10 000 points and to take more 10 000 rebounds.
It takes its retirement during the season 1993-94 at the end of 11 matches, at the 36 years age. Its shirt, the n°40 is withdrawn by the Pistons. He then becomes the commentator of the matches of Strait.
Laimbeer was entitled even to its Video game on Super Nintendo: Bill Laimbeer Fights Basketball , a futuristic play of basketball which mixes tennis shoe and brawls.
In 2002, he becomes the trainer of the team of female basketball of the Shock Strait, in WNBA. It leads the frankness to its first title in 2003, year when it is named trainer of the year .
