Bill Johnston
William (“Little Bill”) Johnston , born the November 2nd 1894 with San Francisco, California, deceased on May 1st 1946 in San Francisco, California, was a player of American Tennis . He was regarded by certain journalists of tennis of the time as the better player of the world equal with Gerald Patterson in 1919 and with “Big Bill” Tilden in 1922.
Johnston was built-in the International Tennis Hall off Famed with Newport, Rhode Island, in 1958.
