Bill Haugland

Bill Haugland is a journalist and a Canadian TV host (Québécois). It was until in November 2006 the chief of antenna of CFCF on the network CTV with Mutsumi Takahashi.

Native of Montreal, it makes his studies with the Institut Ryerson and the Université Concordia. Member of the Canadian Association of the diffusers, it joint with CFCF in 1961.

During its long career, it in particular covered the Expo 67 and the Crise of October. Chief of antenna since 1977, it also animated the emission of public affairs As It Is during seventeen years.

Its Bulletin of news is entitled Pulse NEws . Since 2003, it animates also the emission of public affairs One Assignment .

In November 2006, it takes its retirement, because it finds the way between the State of Vermont and the town of Montreal too testing. It is replaced by Brian Britt, another veteran of CTV.
