Bilge (boat)
See also: Bilge
The bilge is part of the Bordé of a Bateau, representing the intermediate zone between the funds and the walls.
If bilge is round, the hull is known as “in form”; if it is angular, the hull is said “to sharp bilges”. According to the number of these angles, the hull will be with simple, double, or triple bilge. When two bilges are very brought closer, one speaks about hull “in steps”.
