Bignicourt

Bignicourt is a common French, located in the department of the the Ardennes and the area Champagne-Ardenne. Its inhabitants is called Bignicourtois.

Not to confuse with the Bignicourt-on-Marne and Bignicourt-sur-Saulx, located approximately 60 km at the south, in the department of the the Marne.

Geography

Located into full Champagne cereal (the chalky Champagne), the village is surrounded by plains rather not very undulating glazes of fields of cereals and beets (primarily).

The village is crossed by the river the Retourne which is thrown in the Aisne with Neufchâtel-on-Aisne.

The village consists of only one street of almost 300 meters length. It is about the road D925 department connecting Juniville to Pauvres and more largely Neufchâtel-on-Aisne with Vouziers.

The Roman way of Rheims to Trier passed between Bignicourt and City-on-Turns over.
