Biganos
Biganos is a common French, located in the department of the the Gironde and the area Aquitaine.
Economy
First of all, Biganos is especially known for its Usine, exploiting the forest of the Moors for the manufacture of Kraft paper, currently pertaining to the international company " Smurfit " after having belonged during long years to the company called " Cellulose of the pine " . This industry is very old on the site since in the beginning, a paper Moulin had been built on the Ruisseau of Lacanau de Mios to the place known as " Nau" bridge; which one can still see the vestiges nowadays at the southern entry of the small town.
