Bier export

The Export or Export Bier is a German Bière of low fermentation brewed since 1873. Titrating approximately 5  %, it can be brown or fair.

There exist three kinds of Export Dortmunder, Münchener and Wiener.

History

The Export was formerly intended for the Exportation. Its low Fermentation allowed him a better conservation. The beer was produced with a alcoholic strength higher than that intended for the local market: that made it possible to save on the costs of transport, the beer being able to be crossed to water on arrival.

Its strong alcoholic strength and its intense taste were worth a success to him on the local market. To leave Years 1970, the Export however lost in importance in Germany with the profit of the Pils.
